I got a Tweet from a reader yesterday that tellin’ me about my last blog update. There was reference that I shoulda done somethin’ different for April Fools. So, before goin’ to bed last night I watched TV and did some sketchin’. Below is the result of one of them. As I scanned in the piece it occurred to me that a good April Fools woulda been to tell you guys that I’m changing the art style of STC.

Since I tried this with Devon, last week to a decent reception, I figured I’d try it out some more. When it comes to the sketches in my blog, I typically like to do what gets the most responses. So, below is Cory.

Well, the sketchbook project is going strong. Below, you’ll see the latest results.

Last night I ran a vote on Twitter about who you wanted me to draw, in a different style. You had a choice of Devon or Gabby. As you can tell, Gabby took it. If you wanted to see Devon done differently, no worries. You can check out the first one I did of him here. Also, I’ll have a new one of Mr. Allan up on Wednesday.

And as I look at this sketch I did of Gabby, I know this won’t be my last attempt at drawing her in a different style.

Well, I think I’ve found a couple of cool sketch themes to put on this blog. Since starting my sketchbook project I’ve enjoyed getting back into the caricature thing, but drawing the STC gang in different ways is definitely fun. I hope you guys are enjoying them as much as I am, making them.
