If There’s Somethin’ Strange…In the Webcomic ‘Hood

Normally, when you hear someone use a fearful voice to note that “some spook just arrived”, you may just have a bigot on your hands.  But on October 31st, even David Duke gets in the spirit!  Halloween is a great day for many, whether you love being scared/trying to scare people, seeing all the little kids dressed up as their favorite characters, skanking it up (I’m looking at you, Greg Bulmash!…er, not really, but everyone loves a shout-out) in the skimpier version of a traditional costume, or being someone else other than yourself on the one day it’s perfectly acceptable.  At the glam-rock icon Alice Cooper’s suggestion, I’ll be feeding my Frankenstein…and no, that didn’t, nor will it ever sound right…

Since I had the opportunity to see the process of three great artists – Dawn from Zorphbert & Fred, Tim from Bullfinch, and Carlisle from StealThisComic – prepare a treat for you, I thought, “hey, why not trick you into reading my rambling?”  So I wish you all a Happy (and safe) Halloween, and maybe you’ll even turn the clocks back early (Daylight Savings Time 11/1/09) so that the nightmare doesn’t end when it’s supposed to.

Thanks Winnie for  the posting a bonus Garbage Day!!

Well, for the second straight year, I’ve gotten together with TL of Bullfinch and did a jam piece. Joining us this year, however was the talent of Dgriff of ZF Comics fame. I’ve gotta give all the credit to my partners in crime here as this turned out to be waaay better then I could have hoped for. Dgriff has to get the bulk of the credit this year as she was the one who put our artwork together into this great movie poster. If you like this one, check out the other two. Each of us wrote ours differently, and they’re hilarious.
