As I mentioned from the last comic, I recently looked through my archives (in order to make sure that I have left too many plot holes before I finish off this storyline) and have noticed the evolution of Devon’s eyebrows. It’s impressive, and not on purpose. Anyway, I made this strip to really play off of Devon’s eyebrows. Since the already defy gravity by hovering over his head, I thought they would naturally lose the tie of gravity that they usually have with Devon’s head once he is hit hard enough. That’s pretty much the main reason why I wrote this strip this way.
