STC Sketch Dump.
May 17th, 2009
For those of you not already avidly following me on Twitter, I recently got a new job. Last week began my first of 7 weeks of training. Along with a large binder of info to consume, we are also given a legal pad to write on. So with the help of this trusty pad, and my issued pen, I did the following sketches.

The tones on the woman in the last sketch… I glanced up and just for a moment I got a bit of an Ernie Barnes vibe.
You ever thought of doing an Ernie Barnes style pic of the STC cast?
Nah. Never thought of doing that. In fact I had to look him up. You and Winnie are so smart. Gotta dumb it down for me. If you said “that Good Times artist dude” I’da figured it out. The two on the bottom were a product of me trying to shade in pen.

I’m sure neither Winnie nor I would know at least half the things in that big-ass training binder you’ve had to absorb. BTW, for those of us who missed the tweets, can you catch us up on the new day job?
It’s justa customer service job. Definitely nothing to write home about.

THESE SKETCHES ARE FANTASTIC!!! If I keep drinkin’ beer, one day I’ll be able to draw like this when I grow up.
Haven’t been doin’ much drinking and drawing lately. Too busy. Surprisingly, it doesn’t seem to have much of an effect (positive or negative) toward my artwork.
