Well, if nothing else brings you in…
I wanted to practice with the female form and produced the following sketch. Growing up, women had been much harder for me to draw then guys. I used to be best at making blocky characters with sharp angles to my art. With those tendencies I drew more guys and got better at them. Recently, I’ve be working hard at being better at drawing women. The example below, is a good step in the right direction, yet there are tons of parts I could nit-pick about. I’ll spare you. I have the same problem. Getting their curves and features correct isn’t easy. I added to women characters to 1977 to force me to draw women. Oddly, my site’s hits have gone up big-time since I did. I guess boobies do sell… sigh…

You add such fluid angles- she looks so buff! But that’s cool by me!

Even in my random doodling I make no attempts to draw women anymore. My women look like men with long eyelashes and earrings. So bravo to anyone willing to jump on that grenade.
Yeah, but now you gotta balance it out for the ladies. *waits for Carlisle to debut artistic masterpiece entitled “Banana Hammock”*
