The only place that big I can recall with a tree-door entrance was the Pit of Despair in “The Princess Bride”.

  2. Winnie says:

Ooh, Greg – a Princess Bride reference! Well you can call me Inigo Montoya!

C, is that door an entry to Casa de Sage or the Steal This Comic War Room? That S on the door is pretty ominous…

  3. CyberDog says:

Cool page. I like the composition in the second panel. You should keep the greys. I like them. Maybe even throw a couple color pages in there. It wouldn’t be that hard to do if your coloring it in Illustrator. Just a thought, PEACE.

no cable or internet? blasphemy! run away! run away!

  5. admin says:

Thanks for the early replies, guys. <– that rhymes. (been hangin’ out with the little one too much this week)
Greg, Winnie- Any “reference” to the Princess Bride you think you recognize is strictly coincidental.
CyberDog-Thanks for the encouragement. I’ll just need to find other ways to speed the process up. As for color, I’ll only be doing that for work that I don’t expect to see print. That was my whole intent of starting STC.
Dgriff- Well, I think he’d be okay without the cable if ol’ Sagey can hook him up with a nicer computer. Don’t know if Devon knows about Hulu yet.

  6. Greg Bulmash says:

Coincidental? One of your bad guys in this world looks like Inigo, then you have an analogue of the Pit of Despair… That’s a lot of coincidence, bud.

And Winnie, the S stands for “Super, thanks for asking” or maybe “Sage”.

  7. George says:

What good is life without berr, cable, and internet, right? I love how this storyline is going.

  8. bullfinch says:

Beer! I can’t wait to see what the sage looks like! Kirby maybe?
