Irish Spring-funny nick :D

Haven't commented in a while, just wanted to say that I've been reading this every chance I get, C-great characters, very engaging and you have a very offbeat, clever, satirical wit to you that constantly entertains me.

To prevent myself sounding like a complete suck-up fanboy: keep up the good work, m'man!

*goes to prepare for the murder spree of anyone who dares to be anti-STC, and giggles on how slightly rhymn-ish that is*

*Winnie tries to act as though she wasn't checking back periodically for response, but fails miserably*

Well, then now I have to apologize. I wasn't meaning for my comment to seem like it was pointing out misogyny (a funny comment is a funny comment - I'm not easily offended but I am quick to "get all Mike Brady" while stating my opinion if I feel like someone's not getting a fair shake), nor did I really think of your response in that light/take it that way, but I really just wanted an excuse to quote old Irish Spring commercials and bring up Deebo from "Friday"... But I guess I couldn't go back and read how my comment must have come off because my husband told me to get in the kitchen and make him a pot pie and I had to go immediately. *hears loud voice shouting for a PBR*

I accept your Shia comments (and I think that our admin as well as many other people here may feel the same way about the suckage - I'm still waiting for C to come out and liken me to a 13-year-old girl, but could be wrong).

And yeah, Punky got hot. And she filled out quite nicely, too (Great N.Y. Boobs)... I think that's why they really took her away from Henry in later seasons... She's a few years older than I...

And hey - what do you have against Jack Thompson? Nobody likes the First Amendment anyway! And who really minds if some tries to force their religion, values, and so-called morals on other people? *realizes that it's easy to keep a straight face online, because people generally can't see it*

P.S. - Kudos for using "bejeezus".

Sorry, I didn't want that to come out mysoginistic, not what I meant. Male or female shia just sucks to say. It's a crappy name, though people like Jack Thompson (former corrupt senator) scare the bejeezus outta me. Soleil Moon Frye was/is super hot though. same age as me too.

Ah, see C - it's not a true forum until the people that comment break out in a random debate or disagreement or hootenanny (Yes, I said hootenanny - sorry, I just don't get to use that word much... maybe because I don't know what it means?) about something that has nothing to do with the original subject.

TL, About Shia: Say what you want (as you already have), but in my opinion (but I also openly admit my strangeness), the dude rocked "Transformers" and "Disturbia" (and "Holes", if you want to "take it back"). I would, however agree that his part in Indiana Jones was a big "WTF?!" moment for me. I would also agree that he's not necessarily "leading man material"(any more than another one of my favorites, Steve Buscemi is - as favorite or beloved for me does not necessarily equal that) yet (and maybe never), but he's one I love to watch, including his supporting roles and work on television. I'm a fan, and I'm not apologetic for it (but I'm sure you know you're not alone - there are many who feel exactly the way you do), and I know a dude named Patrice that can kick Tom "Zeus" Lister's ass (but that might be from fighting because his name is Patrice...) - if a "man" lets his name define him (or anyone else define it for him), that would make him weak to me.

Honestly, after growing up with celebrity names such as "Punky Brewster"'s Soleil Moon Frye, Dweezil & Moon Zappa, (and to a lesser extent stopping to realize that a woman named Oprah may just own 47 of the 50 states as well as Puerto Rico), I realize I'm much more afraid of people with names like Joey Joe Jo and Tommy Thompson than the Shias and such of the world.

P.S. - On a related note, my best friend's nickname for me is "Hammer" (and I sometimes have been known to use Irish Spring - Manly, yes - but I like it, too). Lovin' the Slam Killbot though. You should try to get that to Jason Lee, as it's hard to follow up the gem that is Pilot Inspektor...

Ouch! I think I'll take a cue from King and TL (or is it R. Kelly?) and piss on Morris Chestnut and Shia LaBeouf ... *looks around and sees people are grossed out* or not...
